Still jacked up

Email to my masseuse and my coach this morning:
"Did 8 easy miles today and it's not fixed. Pain was bearable, which I'm used to dealing with in other areas of my legs, but it's no where near healed.

Back to Aqua Running tomorrow."

Got me some ice at a coffee shop real quick and started the icing toute-de-suite.




Since i wasnt sure i could run, i packed aqua running gear too This meant sandals on my feet on the drive. After a silly delay because I realized I'd forgotten my running shoes at home when i went to put then on. and had to go back and get them, I ran 2 miles with Karma.



The gang had long left but I got lucky and found a friend along the way for part of the run so that was a plus!

I like that you have found a way to maintain fitness even without real running.
However, I think you may enjoy aqua jogging waaayyyy more that you are letting on. I am looking into the future and I see Mike wearing a swimming cap and flippers, while shopping for a road bike. The entire time you are shopping for the bike you are talking about the upcoming triathalon that you have just signed up for. Not that there is anything wrong with that!
Hope the knee gets better soon so I don't have to read about triathalon training on your blog.

Triathlon! Ha! If only u knew how much I tease those friends of mine!!

Your brother is joining me tomorrow. Hopefully I choose a hard enough workout to where he exhos that you can really get a solid workout in there.

No I don't love it, but there's no point in hating it since that's all I have at this time.
The swimmers don't like me.
