Good sign.

Saturday - I ran 2hrs 15mins on the trails with no pain. I could have gone longer but fitness had me exhausted.

Sunday - 45 mins hike with Karma

Monday - 8.5 miles at 8min pace on asphalt with no pain.

May not run Tuesday as I'm going to a show tonight.

Congrats on your return to healthly running. I'm sure you'll be back up to 6 hour trail runs before you know it, now that the improvements have begun.

I have told a few people I will not consider myself "back" until i can do 2 painfree 10mile runs on successive days. But, these last 10 days have been really positive.
The only drawback is that my IT Band still hurts when I'm not running. The absolute worst is sitting on a bar stool. I can't sit on a stool for more than 15 minutes without it starting to hurt. But I'll take non running pain over crippled from running anyday! I'm very VERY excited about today's run! May even have to write more about how happy i am right now!

Don't tell anyone, but the dream goal is to be healthy and be able to run across Zion national park (with JT who may chime in here shortly) in September'ish. (i think it's about 50 miles)
