They'll be doing all sorts fo grueling fun things like running on high elevation trails, camping for several days without a shower. Hiking up to wherever they're cmaping with all their gear. I do hear there's a creek somewhere up there where they can wash off. I hope for her sake that it's nice and cold to cool of after a 10mile or 20 mile run...
On sunday they raced a half marathon race up a mountain for 6.1 miles then back down.
Marla placed 4th!!! in her age group and was fastest female Texan!!! (Almost all the racers were from Colorado) Here's a link to the Barr Moutain Trail Race results page! which will also allow you to read more about the race, the course etc...All Texas based males and females in the results pages are in her training group.
