It's Hot, but I'll manage

I have stuff to do tonight. i HAVE to have all this done by tomorrow morning. I can only do it tonight, and these are the tasks that were left over from the weekend, that I just could not get to.

GO TO:

HOME DEPOT
• Small plants for back walk way
• 3 cacti for door thing
• 1 - 6x10 board - Deck replacement
• Paint Brush

McCOY’S
• 24 bags Cedar Mulch (8 back wall – 6 back sun area – 10 side of house)

STUFF TO GET DONE:
INSIDE

 Paint Room
 Remove window screens
 Laundry

FRONT OUTSIDE

 Mow Front
 Weed control and mulch on side
 Sweep front door
 Sweep driveway
 Sweep front gate area

BACK OUTSIDE

 Mow Back
 Weed Eat around the deck
 Mulch back wall area
 Mulch back sunny area area
 Replace Deck board
 Setup rocks on back wall
 Rake rocks out of the gravel
 Rake dead grass in back (corner and by closest tree)
 Remove dead corn
 Move dog house back down
 Sweep back porch

Problem is... it's 101 F / 39 C outside and it's only going to get hotter.
This weekend, I worked 4 hours each morning, and 3 in the evenings. It was so hot, I was drenched in sweat within the first 10 minutes. Eventually, I found that a very relaxing / refreshing way to cool off was to strip down to my shorts, and grab the water house and shower in the cold water! Had you come to my house on Sunday afternoon, you would have thought I'd dreamt up a new way to dry t-shirts and dirty wet socks => Just lay'em all out on the driveway, and let the sun bake them dry. I may have to do it again!

I'm not sure that putting your clothes out to dry in the sun would exactly qualify as something new per se. Maybe ask Marla's grandma how she dried her clothes after defeating the atheists.

Nice effort though. I hope you got your chores done in the heat. Considering that it's almost 10:30 and still 93F, I imagine you had a helluva time.
