I finally see the end of this torture.

I‘m so tired of dealing with this move, I think it would be less painful to have both my big toes’ toe nails pulled out. Well, maybe not that painful, but it’s pretty darn painful. It’s so incredibly hard to get motivated and grab the last few things.

The movers came on Thursday morning around 9am. After packing up the big moving truck, and then unloading, they left the new abode around 1pm. After a couple of hours unpacking, I went back to the house to clean up, pack up some other things, and piddle with things.

Friday was a day of waiting for some Utilities people to come in the morning and install their services. I did quite a bit of unpacking and then headed over to the house to clean up, pack a few more things, determine what should be donated, thrown away etc.

After my run on Saturday, I napped, unpacked some more, then headed over to the house again. Pretty proud of my effort today... I put in a solid 2 hours, and the garage is DONE. As clean as when I moved in, well, except for it now has shelves, and a 10foot long workbench for the new owner to enjoy, whereas, I had to build all that.

After 2 hours, my patience ran out and it felt like torture again. I packed up the car with as much as possible, then came back.
I’ve been so busy with the move, that I wasn’t able to go to my Thursday group workout, or run a little on Friday. It’s ok, though. Today’s 5miles, and then tomorrow’s 10miles should make it a bit better. After that, Marla and I head over to the house for the last session. We’ll donate a few boxes worth of stuff to goodwill, and then pack the cars with the remaining things, and things should be done.

Monday will suck too. Got to be at the house to let the carpet cleaners, and the cleaning lady in there by I think 8am. We have nothing in there, so not sure what I’m going to do while they do their thing. 3pm is the close time. Then we head to bank, and deposit the big, fat, profit check! Woohoo!!!

Don’t you wish you could trade your weekend and Monday with me! I know you’re jealous. Every one of you reading this is jealous!
