I was supposed to run 14 or 16 miles on Saturday, but my legs and also mentally, I've been feeling a little tired. So I decided that 14 miles wasn't the best for me. Nedra was running the 16miles on Sunday. Carolyn still recovering from her Vineman 1/2 Ironman, didn't want to go too far either. We decided to meet Nedra on her route.
Ran through Shoal Creek neighborhood, over to Speedway through those neighborhoods, by the stadium to see the Bevotron. Then over to Congress and down to townlake. (see link off "Distance"). It was a good run, I felt really strong, and I kind of felt like I cheated myself, and should have gone longer.
Went and soaked at the Springs while it was still free (pre 9am), then went and had some Huevos Ranchero goodness at Las Manitas. I'd forgotten how great that place is. I'm going back for lunch this week, and for bfast after next weekend's run. Who's in?!
