Self-sustained Vegetables

Last year I had a huge crop of tomatoes and basil. My Home Owners Association wasn't happy with my huge tomato plants and had me tear them up so this year, I decided to not plant anything.

Well, apparently that wasn't in the cards this year as seeds from last years basil and tomatoes germinated and started to grow on their own this spring.

So now I have 4 tomato plants and plenty of basil growing completely on its own. I haven't watered or paid any attention to them but they seem to be getting enough water from my side yard's sprinkler system.

And now the tomatoes are blooming. Ha!
