I just learned a new valuable lesson for anyone trying to hydrate for a marathon.
NEVER schedule a conference call or demo that will last longer than 60 minutes, WITHOUT inviting a colleague.
If you need to pee like a race horse, like I just had to, you will not be able to, and you will seem antsy to get off the damn phone.
Your client will probably not be too thrilled with your interest in them becoming a customer, and/or will think you simply couldn’t care less about them.
Good god did I have to pee.

Yet another good reason to use a Sales Engineer for your demos... so you can piss at your leisure! Damn am I happy to have another reason for my professional existence :)
There are so many times I have been on a conference call and had to mute myself out and run (RUN!!!) to the bathroom.
Luckily, though, there is usually at least one other member of the meeting on IM so I can warn them I won't be around for 2 minutes.
