About twice a month someone asks me this question in some variant:
"Is your dog a puppy?"
So I always answer: No, he's 7.
And then they say some variant of: "Wow"
Karma has gray hairs all around his chin, and even some gray by his eyes.
Do they ask this because most 7 year old medium and large sized dogs are shaped like pears, or is that their best conversation starter?
I can't figure this one out.

everyone thinks Eden is a puppy, too. I had a lady, last week, tell me she would probably grow up to be a big dog cause she had big paws. ha!
I think it is because he is in great shape. Most labs his age are about 80 lbs heavier than him. He is a champion runner after all, he has the hard wear to prove it.
