Bring back the high miles, dammit!

Ran a really long way today... 11.2 miles. That makes my total for the week a whopping 20.2 miles in 4 days. (Tuesday 9 + today's 11.2) And the only reason I'm over 20, is I decided I needed to get a 1.2 mile Karma loop before our group run because I felt like a complete loser yesterday while I sat in a marathon meeting.(not marathon the race, marathon as in an uber long almost 6 hours long meeting)

See! I told you I'd be leading the league in mediocrity this week!
(usually I'm at 60miles by now! ha!)

Not sure how far I'll go tomorrow, because I'm running a silly 4 man, 10 mile (2.5m x 4) relay tomorrow afternoon. I'm not planning to race it as I haven't done ANY speedwork in 2009, AND the last thing I need is a hamstring injury. I'm just opening up the pace a little.
I actually can't wait till Saturday when I'm allowed to run 16. My achilles were in so much pain this morning, it took forever for them to stop hurting when I got up. Usually, about 5 steps into it, they're stretched and good to go. Today, I walked proabably 50 steps before I was able to stop walking like an old man. I really can't wait for this silly week to be over. This 2 days off thing is for the birds.

Oh lordy, aren't you enjoying eating pizza and not running?? I'm having a blast and wish this week were two weeks :) What's this "I'm not gonna race on Friday BS??" Does this mean Team 11 is gonna whoop up on you and Killer??
