On the Left, finish line mile 31, at 12:29pm.
I never understand why the dude at the Bandera Trail race always chooses to sit at the very top of the steepest climb, where there's no way to run, if the runner in front of you is walking?
It makes you look like you're out for a Sunday walk. Then again, I have the finish time, and the 1st place Age Group award(7th overall) proving that I did move forward faster than almost everyone else, so that's all that matters.

Note the shoe change, and the removal of my "yellow ring" long sleeve I wear for every race, my switch from beanie to cap, and removal of gloves.
Weather tends to change for the warmer over5 hours4 hours and 59 minutes time.
P.S. I would proceed to finish 57 minutes faster than the guy in the white and red shirt in front of me.

That's amazing! Can you imagine how much faster you would have gone minus all those changes??? congratulations!
PS. (Did you hear Dee is contagious?? be careful in the morning ;))
See FOOL (aka T3P)...you are hatin' on everyone's blog.
DUDE! Way to rock it! And a costume change to boot! Nice!
Just goes to show that the dude in the red and white shirt was walking too fast up that hill, he should have been more in tune with his race (used up too much of his energy and had to slow down), stepped aside and let you blast up the hill. On the other hand, perhaps the forced walk helped you conserve energy that you were able to use in the last mile.
