I have a ravenous appetite
The ramp up in miles has led ridiculous hunger. I’m not doing anything different from last season. Still getting tons of sleep which is witnessed by my inability to stay awake past 8:30pm most days. I still weigh exactly the same pre and post runs. I'm still eating my pre run foods as before, and taking care of my post run recovery drinks as before, and eating the same types of lunches, and dinners, but I can’t stop the hunger.
Yesterday I ate lunch at noon. The usual big ass sandwich with fruit, and some other stuff. I had my mid afternoon snack, and by 4pm I was hungry again so I ate my dinner. A nice sized bowl of Pasta. I went to meet up with my coach for a couple of hours and upon my return I was hungry again and ate a second dinner at 8pm.
By the sounds coming out of my stomach, it looks like I’ll be hungry again today.
Mother Nature needs to go in for a medical checkup.
It’s no secret that the weather has been all over the map over the last 2 months. Freezing cold temperatures one day, followed by shorts and t-shirts weather the next. Best evidence of her lunacy is my lime tree. I have a lime tree in a pot. It’s pretty decent in size, but it’s movable. It lost a little of it’s luster over the last year, but some renewed love has it kicking butt again. Here’s the problem though, it’s ALREADY blooming, which means it thinks spring is here and it’s time to grow some limes. The problem is, the weather is freesing again, and I can’t afford to have the blooms fall off too early, as the limes grow out from each bloom. So, for now, Limey lives indoors for the next few days.

What do you weigh in at, about 160, maybe more if you've recently bulked up from all your push-ups? 90 miles per week? This running-calorie-calculator http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/4/4_1/94.shtml says you need 11,000+ calories just to balance the running. That's in addition to, you know, existing as a human.
Um, yeah.
that's 11,000 calories over a week, dodo.
and I don't weigh 160. That would make me heavy boned.
On Oprah they talked about calories and... never mind ;)
were they counting how many calories are in the double servings of creamy alfredo sauce she puts on her eggs for breakfast, or how many calories are in the sticks of butter she eats as pre-tv show snacks?
