You don't realize how much running and doing high levels of physical fitness is part of your well-being until you can't anymore. To go from 70 miles (110+km) per week to zero because you're recovering from a race is one thing. But to simply not be able to go, it just sucks.
Ugh. I'm so frustrated
I took Karma to the greenbelt for a walk at sunrise. He's been pretty frustrated being forced to only do 10min walks too.

At least one of us got our cooped up energy released. The other one just walked sound trying to figure out if the knee pain is a phantom pain or if tomorrow I'll be able to run for an hour with my friend. We shall see.

Actually it would be better to copy this into your search engine. I was hoping you could spread the word for me and I will keep you in my prayers, I used to cycle 50-100 miles a day even on the decrepped leg I had that eventually was amputated above the knee after 68 operations.I only had 3 good years since I was 13 in 1981.I live with constant excrutiating phantom pain. Best wishes Staci
