Just have to update from below.
My calves and left quad feel like I raced a marathon yesterday. OUCH!
No issues in hamstrings which is great!
The knee felt surprisingly better than other mornings. I hope it's not due to very sore left quad and calves. (issue is right knee so left quad soreness is welcome!)
All this soreness answered the question for my Tuesday... Aquarunning it is!
I did some quick math:
+ 37mins for the 4 mile trail warmup.
+ 2:13 for 20 miles
= 2:50.
If I add two "slow" 7:25 miles and then a 1:10min 0.2, I'm sitting at a 3:06 marathon which would be my second fastest ever.
I'm pretty happy about that!!
Especially since the 4 mile warmup was a comfortable trail run at around Karma's 9:15 min/mile pace!
I know i was super fit before my knee, but wow... I really rhink the pool has been positive. I'm excited about tomorrow to get a non impact recovery AquaRun! Ha!!
