25 and 26

I'm not going to spend much time in the twenties.

A couple of people have been annoying the crap out of me going on and on about the shakes at Terra Burger. The problem is, they're clear across town which means I had to wait till I was over there. (little did I know there's actually one 15 mins from my house as opposed to the one way the hell up there that I visited today!)

In any case, I bought two of them. Yes, TWO.

Let me tell you something...
On the left is a Mint Choc Chip and to me it's weird that it's not Green. But it's VERY good. The chocolate chips are teenie tiny and after each mouthful of shake, you are left with fine chocolate chips melting away. It was excellent.

Now let me tell you something else... The VANILLA shake on the right was sensational. Clearly the beat Vanilla shake I've had so far. You can taste the realness of it, and it's a rich vanilla, yet not overwhelmingly sweet. Put it this way, I had 2 shakes, and had no problems taking care of either of them!

So I give their burger a B, as I know of several better burgers around town. I give their fries a C -, and that's just being polite based on the strength of their shakes.

The shakes earn a solid A for the mint choc chip, and a clear A +++ for the Vanilla.

I completely agree with your review of all three items, though I must say I've only had the veggie burger.

Some people really like those big fat straws. At TerraBurger, I specifically ask for the regular straws. The shakes from TB taste way thicker and last longer when consumed through a regular straw...and those shakes are too damn good to just suck down in a few seconds. Next time TB gives you one with the big fat straw, ask for a regular straw in addition to do a trial...it won't collapse or be too flimsy for you, I promise.

I'm sure you know this - they use real organic ice cream and organic milk, which is probably why you like them so much...they are like the ones you make at home.

I do like the fat straw, and even have two from Alamo draft house. But I will trial use a skinny one next time. yes, there most definitely will be a next time. In fact, every visit to magic Lisa will cost me an extra $5!
LOL

i like the big straws on thick shakes, this one was nice and smooth, so skinny will work for sure. unlike marble slab's terrible stuff.

mmmm... i could go for another terra-nilla-shake already!

Did you have their sweet potato fries or the regular? If you put the sweet potato fries in your oven for a few minutes they are much much better!

I love that when you order the burger without the bun they give you a TON of lettuce to wrap it in. It has become my new pre-race burger spot because of the grass-fed beef and normal patty size VS. 2x too big burger patties.

I can't wait to have a vanilla shake from there on June 29th!!

And, yes, there is a location pretty darn close to you :)
