TV. It's sooo good.

To all you whom have given up on TV and/or stopped paying for cable because "there's nothing on but crap"... let me tell you... With all due respect, you are the one that's full of crap! TV these days has some phenomenal stuff on.

A friend just wrote about some "great" TV this week on his/her blog. I happen to completely disagree with the 3 choices as A- I gave up on LOST many seasons ago when they were insulting me by milking episodes by going back in time, or summarizing what had already taken place. B- I don't like the sitcom in question. To be fair to my friend, said person doesn't really either, but was pushed to watch this one episode for a specific reason, and C- I refuse to watch nonesense, which the blogger also pointed out about the show in question. With all that said, the point is not to put a spotlight on the horrendous TV watching choices this person makes. I mean, afterall, not everyone can have my TV watching abilities! Ha!

The point is, I had been thinking about writing about some tv shows I enjoy, so what better time to do it, and what better way, than to simply repurpose the comment I wrote on the blog:
" Totally my personal opinion, which is what makes comments and what makes televsion GREAT:
You made three huge mistakes this week, because those three shows were clearly NOT the three best shows this week.
1-Topping the list this week on brilliant television is the 2nd episode of this season's return of Friday Night Lights. Please add the word "triumphant"
to the preceeding sentence, wherever you think it can fit in. Yes, it's that good!
2- the best reality show on tv is, and continues to be, SURVIVOR. No other reality tv show makes you wish you could fast forward to the following week like it can. Can't wait for the finale on Sunday! Woohoo! The week to wait is only 72 hours long!
3- you mentioned cooking in a post about TV. I have three words for you: TOP CHEF MASTERS."

Totally agree with you on Survivor. Best reality show (and my favorite show of any genre all week).

FNL is also fantastic.

It is a shame you gave up on LOST, and quite ironic that you consider the episodes going back in time as 'insulting'. Not that I think every episode is fantastic, but overall is one of the best series on TV.

Our family newest sitcom of choice...Modern Family. So funny.

I *heart* FNL. One of the gals was in the shop the other day.

You can keep your other shows...they don't interest me;-)

Since Breaking Bad isn't even mentioned in this comment, all other content is meaningless...
