I need to live a more exciting life.

At the WDE's office yesterday, they had me fill out a similar form to the one I've filled out at other places. It isn't until I was driving home that I realized that I need to live a more dangerous life because I'm not able to fill out one of the most important questions correctly.

How would you describe your pain?
( )Dull ( )Ache ( )Numb
( )Intermittent ( )Constant
( )Acute ( )Throbbing
( ) Sharp ( )Stabbing ( ) Shooting

There were many more options, and truth be told, I checked off Dull, Ache, Sharp, Constant, Intermittent, Acute, Throbbing, Stabbing and Shooting, (maybe even a few others) because at any point in time over the span of a week, they all apply; and it didn't say "Please check one" or "Check all that apply".

So as I'm driving home, I realized that:
A) I incorrectly filled out the form
B) I either lead a very boring life
or
C) the doctors I frequent treat many victims of gang violence or war veterans.

How did I come to this conclusion? Well... do they really expect me to know what a stab wound feels like so I can check that box? Even worse, should i take a bullet so i know what a gun shot feels like? Heck, maybe I'm supposed to get stabbed AND shot, so I can clearly distinguish between stabbing and shooting, in order to provide an accurate description of my issues moving forward.

Most disturbing is that I think a dozen of you would gladly volunteer to make this happen and you'd probably even bring assorted knives and guns so i could choose my favorite.

Very dangerous potential offer to make to the crew you hang out with. And just FYI - I received an awesome new set of butcher knives over Christmas. Nice and pointy. (Totally unrelated . . .)
