I think my other blog venture may be flawed.
I started a new blog, which was solely intended in capturing time.
The premise of this idea was the fact that I get to work pretty early, and quite often the sunrises are very cool. I decided to trace my camera outline on the ledge of the 3rd floor of my Office's parking garage, set the zoom at the same setting everyday, and take a picture.
I had dreams of nice sunrise colors, stormy skies, fog, and all the other stuff I've seen in the past. But so far, it's been very dissapointing. I've been at it for almost a week, and every picture looks the same. Honestly, I think it looks boring.
I'm unsure if I should:
- Keep going - Over time, it'll eventually change. Afterall, its not supposed to be a thrill filled blog, just a historical archive of what every morning was like. Eventually, the sun will start rising from other angles, later in the morning and the good stuff will come.
- Try a different time of day - If so, lunchtime or when I leave? (leave could be difficult, because when i slide down the dinosaur's back, there's not much stopping me from wanting to leave the premises.
- Give up.
- Take a picture of something else? (problem here is, I don't want to lug my camera around AND more importantly, this is not a 'MoBlog'. (MoBlog = Mobile Blog where people simply take a picture from their phone and POOF!, shoot it up to their site... Here's a great example of one of those:Matt's Blog), and I don't intend it to be one either. If I do decide on a different picture. It has to be really simple to repeat every day.
You can go to the blog in question by
clicking here, or some of you may have noticed it as a link on the right side of this blog: Mornings in Austin.
I'm going to keep it going till I figure out what to do, but please post a comment, give me a new idea, or your opinion. Thanks!

I say keep it up...will be interesting to watch the Austin skyline change over the next year with the condo craziness and new towers.
But if it's work, give it up.
Yeah, Keep it up, but be prepared to put together some sort of slideshow or something when its all over. I took a picture every day of this office building that was being built next to my office. I thought it would be cool to put together some sort of slide show at the and kind of watch the building grow over the course of a year. I got lazy though, and now I have like 400 pictures that I don't have the time to string together....
Thanks for the shout-out btw.
