BSC - my take on the coaches poll

I'm not even going to begin to go into why the Harris Poll is stupid, other than, it's just a bunch of "has beens" that vote. It's no better than the AP Poll it replaced.

However, the coaches poll. I understand it's a 3 way tie in the BIG XII South. However, I'm only talking Texas and OU.
I'd like each and every coach that has a vote in the poll to put themselves in the position of Head Coach of the University of Texas football team. If you were in this situation, wouldn't you expect all your peers to put you ahead of the team you beat on a neutral field earlier in the season?

I mean, how can you look your peers in the eye when you end up in that same situation in the future and expect people to make a rational decision. We beat them fair and square, by 10 points. Why not reward the team that won the head to head match up??

Anyway, that's my opinion, and I know it doesn't count for anything, but I had to release the feeling somewhere.

WOW. Ohio State REALLY sucks!!

If you get absolutely manhandled by a team who gets beat by an unranked team, then that means you REALLY suck! hahahah

Here's to wishing continued Doom and Gloom to Ohio State!
Oh yeah, USC.... HA HA HA HA to you too!!!

*Unfortunately both of these teams play in such pathetic Conferences (Big Teneleven and Pac 10) that they'll both easily make it to a BCS game.

Soccer sounds I miss

I'm going to go watch a friend's Lacrosse team on Wednesday (He's one of the coaches), and we got to talking joking about supporting them with cowbells and such.

I then remembered the good times at soccer games and the different sounds one can hear when watching on TV:

As much as I like going to the University of Texas football games, they really don't compare to either one of these experiences. Then again, I don't think I'll ever forget being at this game, and seeing experiencing this moment either!

Fantasy Football Draft - T Minus 1 hour.

Just spent 2 hours setting up my player rankings and my tracking sheets.
There's another hour to go before the draft, so it's time to eat up some dinner so i don't have to worry about that in the middle of it.

I think I'll still have some time to read through the two magazines one more time to mayve find one more sleeper that no one knows about!
